In 2018, JT and Caresha (Yung Miami) stepped on the scene as the City Girls and changed my life.  A think piece marinating on their impact will come in time but here's my list of their best videos. PERIODDDDDT

Quintessential City Girls. Scamming, strippers, designer bags and a mansion. Where the bag at niqqa? 

Jobs (2020)

A communist anthem. An examination of working class conditions and the rise of Only Fans. 

Flashy (2023) 

Deserved a single release. The looks and girlyness scream Black Barbie. 

Fuck Dat Nigga (2018)

Where it all started. The first time I heard anyone declare "I NEED A NIGGA WHO GON SWIPE THEM VISAS." Sound quality is a little crunchy but that's part of the appeal. It's just too real. 

Act Up (2019)

Can you believe this was made less than a year later? Artist development on 10. Cultural influence on 1000. Caresha holding it down while JT was in the slammer and Yachty, the writer of this track (minus JT's verse) leaning into his inner baddie directing Caresha on line delivery. You had to be there.

Twerkulator (2019)

Missy Elliot directed and asses were shaking. With a sample like that who wouldn't? 

Take Yo Man (2018)

JT and Caresha on trial for stealing some sorry girl's man. I bet he got off. So did they. Both girls had something to say. I heard it loud and clear. 

Good Love featuring Usher (2022) 

They looked like they were having fun. I love my girls. Lowkey feel like Diddy secured the Usher feature....

Twerk featuring Cardi B (2019)

The video that birthed the phrase "flewed out." Cardi and Careesha gathering the thickest in the land with a clear call to action. Twerk. 

I Need a Thug (2024)

Filmed in the iconic International Inn. Real Miami shit. I believe this is their last music video together as of writing this.
